Qualified as a veterinarian in 2007 and completed an internship in Equine medicine and surgery at Onderstepoort in 2008. She then completed a Masters Degree in Equine Medicine, enrolled in a 3 year residency in Equine Medicine at the University of Pretoria under the European College of Equine Internal Medicine. She was admitted to the European Board of Medicine in 2015 and now is now a Board Certified Medicine Specialist. During her post grad studies she had several opportunities to visit and do externships in the United States, including a 4 week period at the Hagyards Equine Clinic in Lexington Kentucky, working and learning from some of the best in the industry. She presented and attended several conferences during this time.
I love country music and everything country, reading, spending time in the bush, biltong and whenever I can I still go home to spend time on the farm where my 7 horses are roaming freely.
